Abstract
In order to guarantee the sanitary epidemiological wellbeing of the Khabarovsk region population a complex scientific-research was pursued in 2017. Among the areas of cooperation between the Rospotrebnadzor institutions the most pressing issues were “Peculiarities of epidemiology and microbiology of enterovirus infections in the Khabarovsk region territory”, “Improvement of epidemiological surveillance over tick-borne infections in the Khabarovsk region territory”, “Molecular-genetic monitoring in the system of epidemiological surveillance over HIV-infection and viral hepatitis B and С conducted in the Khabarovsk region territory”. Not least important area of joint-cooperation was evaluation of the main respiratory bacterial pathogens risks in development of pneumococcal infection in Khabarovsk region population. Collaboration on improvement of methodological techniques contributed to helminthiasis research in Khabarovsk region territory was executed. The research on evaluating the role of the fish in transmission of helminths to population was continued. Primary objectives were determined according with academic and research collaboration between Khabarovsk research institute of epidemiology and microbiology, organizations and institutions of Rospotrebnadzor for 2018 year.

Abstract
As the result of retrospective analysis the epidemiological dynamics of tuberculosis key indicators in Khabarovsk Krai in 2010 - 2016 were studied. In the reported period in the Russian Federation and the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD) reduction in the burden of tuberculosis was observed, however this it was not identified in the Khabarovsk Krai. Tuberculosis mortality rate in Khabarovsk Krai fell from 23.9 in 2010 down to 12.6 in 2016. During the reported period, the tuberculosis periodic screening coverage in Khabarovsk Krai consistently surpassed Russia-wide and FEFD coverage rates. Tuberculosis incidence induced by multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in Khabarovsk Krai was 1.2-1.4 times higher than in FEFD and 1.9-2.5 higher than in the Russian Federation. The rate of TB patients with associated infections (HIV and Tuberculosis) in Khabarovsk Krai was lower by 4 - 6.3 times than in Russia. The Khabarovsk Krai was the leading territory among the federal entities of FEFD in tuberculosis detection among migrant workers. The share of tuberculosis incident cases in FSIN facilities (Federal Penal Enforcement Service) was high.

Abstract
Evolution of the HIV-infection epidemic remains a crucial healthcare issue in Russian Federation. The cumulative number of HIV-positive people in the Far Eastern Federal District reached 24 921 in 2017. Should be noted that HIV-prevalence rates were slightly declining during the last three years of surveillance (2015-2017). The percent of HIV-positive people registered for outpatient treatment out of total number of people living with HIV totaled up to 80.92% in 2017. Coverage of the population with HIV screening tests reached 24.05%. The results of the epidemiologic analysis of HIV epidemic course in the Far Eastern Federal District are presented in the article.

Abstract
HIV-infection in the Russian Federation as well as in penitential institutions is a pressing issue due to growing number of HIV-positive people. A questionnaire survey showed that social portrait of HIV-positive inmate is as follows: predominantly it is a male of working age (33.3±1.2 years of age) with a low social status living in a city. The results of the sociological research show a necessity of health-related education in general population and sentenced people in order to form a responsible behavior that will lead to decline of epidemiological indicators concerning HIV-infection and parenteral viral hepatitis that have common routes of disease transmission.

Abstract
The results of monitoring studies in the territory of some regions of the Far East in respect of a number of natural focal viruses, including West Nile virus, encephalitis Batai, California serogroup and imported cases of arbovirus diseases for the 2011 - 2017. The data obtained indicate active circulation of arboviruses in natural foci and synanthropic biocenoses on the territory of some subjects of the Far East Russia and probability of drift of causative agents through transport and tourist connections.

Abstract
The results of the study of the infection of granulocyte anaplasmosis and monocyte erlichiosis by human pathogens of hungry and nourishing ixodid mites collected and removed after sucking to a person in the territory of the Khabarovsk Territory in 2014-2017 are presented. For the presence of antibodies to pathogens, residents of six administrative districts of the province were examined. Biological material from the population of the three surveyed territories revealed antibodies to pathogens. The obtained results testify to the circulation of pathogens of granulocyte anaplasmosis and monocytic human erhychosis in the Khabarovsk Territory.

Abstract
There are combined hot spots of Lyme borreliosis in Khabarovsk Krai. That said, monitoring of the contamination rate of different species of ixodic ticks by borreliosis infectious agents is of paramount importance in epidemiology surveillance of that group of infections. It was indicated that there was a correlation between contamination rate of different species of ixodic ticks and type of borreliosis infectious agents, apart from that the trend data for the season activity of ixodic ticks in Khabarovsk krai was presented.

Abstract
The epizoological study data of waterbodies in Bureisky district, Amuк oblast testified the circulation of clonorchiasis causative agents in the chain of initial and accessory hosts and existence of the malady hot spot in the territory. It indicated on the existence of the initial and accessory hosts of trematodes biotopes and high level of invasion of specific species of fish in fishery water bodies. The biggest level of clonorchiasis larvae causative agents invasion was identified among non-commercial fish species - bayou lakes dwellers, that are reasonably rarely used for food by people

Abstract
The article presents the results of research on the development of a new method of citrate assimilating enterobacteria identification. In recent years, due to the significant increase in the circulation of these microorganisms among persons with disbiotic bowel condition, there is a need for their identification on a larger scale. A simple and cost-effective method of identification of this group of microorganisms using a limited set of tests was proposed. The method is protected by a patent .

Abstract
The fundamental requirements have been outlined that must be met to ensure the long-term preservation of bacteria. A new method for preserving microorganisms has been proposed. The ready-to-use medium “Signal blood culture system medium” manufactured by Oxoid, is used. Originally, it was designed for the diagnosis of bacterial contamination of blood. The study can be utilized by the research and development laboratories and other kinds of clinical microbiology laboratories if there is a need to preserve fastidious bacteria cultures like: Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzaе and others for a long period of time, among other things long-term storage of museum strains.

Abstract
The article presents two clinical cases of sporadic myalgia suspicious for enterovirus etiology in elderly patients with comorbid conditions occurred during the epidemic season of enterovirus infection. In the first case, food route, and in the second case, the water route of transmission were suspected.

Abstract
During the snowfall in the city of Blagoveschensk, direct inoculation of the falling snowflakes was conducted using conventional medium - meat-and-peptone agar; after the incubation at a temperature of +37о C the following bacteria grew up: Bacillus sp., Pseudomonas sp., Sarcina flava, Serratia marcescens, and representatives of Penicillium, as well dark-colored fungi. The electron microscopy identified the following in the melt water and its sediments\sludge: yeast fungi, mycelia of mold fungi, elementary bodies of L-phase bacteria variants and dust particles. Dust, bacteria, conidia and mushroom spores are able to be the centers for snowflakes nucleation.
